Starting in 1999, Sisters @ Eight is a monthly meeting that focuses on the health and wellness of Black women. Sisters@Eight offers an opportunity for communication and networking among health care professionals, grassroots leadership, community advocates, service providers and community members who provide (and are in search of) culturally competent services to the African American & Black community of Los Angeles…
