WHO: Co-hosted by Black Women for Wellness; Featuring Special Guest Speaker: CA Labor Commissioner’s Office.

WHAT: This month’s edu-series will focus on wage and hour rights, with a focus on highlighted industries for April: temp workers, sex workers, gig workers, doulas, and workers in the entertainment industries.

This CWOP Edu-Series event is for any Black worker in any of the following fields:

Health Care Nurses, physicians, doctors, home health aides, nursing assistants, medical receptionists, All of the health Techs (x-ray, respiratory) Residential Care: nursing assistants, dietitians, therapists, travel nurses, nursing home assistants
Public Sector Firefighters, professors, librarians, social workers, city managers, accountants, mail carriers, city clerks 
Aerospace and Advanced Manufacturing Engineers, scientists, researchers, truck drivers, Electricians, machinists, controllers, inspectors, floor assemblers, designers, metal workers, production associates, processing workers, production control clerks, quality control clerks, welders
Transportation, Warehouse Logistics Stockers, warehouse packers, clerks, loaders, material handlers, machine operators, forklift drivers, garment workers, Truck drivers, logistics coordinators
